Daniel Widdowson - Producer / Director / Writer / Actor

 

ABOUT DAN:

Daniel is probably best known for his work with Network Seven, having hosted Saturday Disney from 2000 until the beginning of 2007 and being part of the Ground Force team for two seasons. In that time he met some amazing people, travelled to many beautiful locations across the globe and hosted over 350 episodes of crazy Saturday morning madness.

Outside of television Daniel is also known as the voice to wake up to on morning radio show, "Aaron and Dan" on Hope 103.2. Many know him as Australia Day Ambassador or Ambassador for Mission Australia, others as a local pastor at Coast Community Church, and to others still as script writer for stage and screen including scripts for "Home and Away."

Some lesser known facts about this man are his finalist status in the "Young Australian of the Year" awards, finalist also in the "Young Australian Playwright of the Year" awards, and that he once ate half a litre of ice-cream in thirty seconds.
